Position Overview: 

We are keen on welcoming a virtual paralegal who: 

  • Knowledge of preparing all family immigration applications to include but not limited to: I-589, I-765, I-130, I-485, I-601, I-918, I-192, and other applications as necessary

  • Provide additional administrative support, including scheduling appointments and hearings, and managing calendars and deadlines

  • Working on family-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, asylums, VAWAS, SIJS, etc

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Ability to handle management of cases and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of correct English and Spanish language usage, spelling, punctuation and legal terminology

  • Knowledge of the organization and composition of business letters, minutes, reports and numerical and tabular materials

  • Knowledge of filing applications with USCIS

  • Knowledge of filing motions to reopen and reconsider with USCIS

You can expect to: 

  • Operate with significant independence. 
  • Be responsible for maintaining timely communication with clients between 9am – 6pm with a close responsiveness commitment. 
  • Experience the freedom and flexibility of working from the comfort of your home. 
  • The selected paralegal will come on board as a W-2 employee (not a 1099 independent contractor) for a minimum of 30 hours/week. 

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3+ years of recent experience working as an immigration paralegal
  • Strong soft skills, including the ability to manage dynamic conditions and remain proactive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative on assigned tasks
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in legal research platforms, document management systems, video conferencing platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Resourceful problem solver who can find creative solutions to challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Availability to respond to requests within an hour during the hours of 9 AM - 6 PM MT, Monday – Friday
  • Your own laptop and smart phone with broadband access to Internet
  • Quiet location in which to make and take phone calls


  • Draft legal documents, including letters, pleadings, motions, and affidavits 
  • Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date 
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner 
  • Assist attorneys in hearing and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating witnesses 
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and hearings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence 
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and effective case management
