Job description
Are you an experienced paralegal with a passion for personal injury law? Equivity is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented virtual paralegal to support our personal injury clients. If you also have experience in workers’ compensation, that’s a strong plus!
Key Responsibilities:
Draft demand letters, pleadings, motions, and affidavits.
Manage and organize personal injury case files from intake through resolution.
Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and court staff.
Assist attorneys with mediation, settlement, and trial preparation, including exhibits and witness coordination.
Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and provide general case support.
Collaborate effectively with attorneys and fellow team members.
Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients during standard business hours (9 AM – 6 PM)
About You:
At least 3 years of recent experience as a personal injury paralegal.
Experience with workers’ compensation matters is a preferred plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, legal research tools, and cloud-based platforms.
Experience with personal injury specific software like FileVine and SmartAdvocate strongly preferred.
Comfortable using video conferencing and managing tasks remotely.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines independently.
Equipped with a reliable Windows-based laptop, smartphone, and broadband internet.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 3 years of recent litigation paralegal experience.
Availability to respond to client requests within one hour, Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
